Big order from Dubai

Evobus 100% subsidiary of Daimler AG received a big order from Dubai. 260 MercedesCitaro buses will be produced in the factory in Mannheim. Delivery started in March.  Carcoustics also participated in this special line.  Carcoustics supplies the isolation and acoustic parts.  Because of the high temperatures in the Emirates, the buses are equipped with a special heat-isolation package composed out of 66 different parts.  This isolation package for desert states has the purpose to increase the comfort and also safety of the driver and its passengers. 

With this solution Carcoustics emphasises their new slogan: “More than silence!” and continues developing products and services that provide more than just acoustic performance. “It shows that we are heading in the right direction and gives us the confidence that we will master the crisis with new applications and in different sectors” says Global Customer Manager Gunter Arnold.
