MATERIAL CHARACTERIZATION

AIR FLOW RESISTIVITY METER / POROSITY METER

For the development of acoustically effective materials and to conduct acoustical simulations, physical samples can be characterized.

To evaluate the airflow resistivity Carcoustics utilizes an air flow resistivity meter based on ASTM C522-03 as well as ISO9053. To determine the porosity and bulk density a separate test system that is state of the art can be used.
