Carcoustics was once again awarded as "Top Employer Automotive Germany". In addition, the two Austrian companies in Rankweil and Klaus were also certified as "Top Employer Austria" for the first time as part of a group certification process. The awards were presented on 13th February 2018 during the ceremony of the Certification Dinner.
Each year, the Top Employers Institute awards this distinction to companies that excel in their human resources management and strategy. This year, Carcoustics was particularly convincing in the areas of talent management, training and development as well as performance management.
Thomas Sundermann, Vice President HR of the Carcoustics Group, is delighted about the award: “The fact that we have done so well in many areas is a great recognition of our work“. At the same time, the company always uses the evaluation to identify and implement potential for improvement: “We know exactly in which areas we can improve. Last year, for example, we caught up strongly in the use of technologies and not only created a new position as a digital transformation manager but also invested in modern systems in the HR area.”
Carcoustics is an innovative company on an international growth path. Nevertheless, the supplier attaches great importance to a team-oriented, value-based working environment and a balanced work-life balance through, for example, flexible working hours and home office in defined areas. „The focus is on the fact that performance is not measured by attendance, but by the results achieved - irrespective of location and time“, says Thomas Sundermann.
David Plink, CEO of the Top Employers Institute, emphasizes: “Optimal business conditions ensure that people can develop personally and professionally. Our extensive research has shown that Carcoustics provides an excellent working environment and is continuously working on improving it. This includes talent management strategy, international development of young talents, the creation of modern and flexible working conditions and effective performance management.”
Another particularly important aspect for Carcoustics is the support and development of young talents. The apprentices and dual students pass through various stages in the company during their training, often also abroad. They are given responsibility at an early stage to prepare them for the work environment of an innovative, technology-oriented company. Last year Carcoustics was awarded the "MINT Minded Company 2017" for the first time. The certification is awarded by audimax MEDIEN GmbH and recognizes employers who are particularly attractive for graduates of the so-called MINT subjects (mathematics, information technology, natural sciences, technology). Companies can only qualify by being named as an attractive employer by students.
Carcoustics is still looking for young talents and specialists, management and project management employees!
