Carcoustics at Mobility Day 2019

Mobility Day 2019 took place on 10 October. The format, which was organised this year by the NABIBB (National Agency at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training) in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the State Committee of Employers' Associations of the Chemical Industry of North Rhine-Westphalia e.V., highlights international opportunities in during training - especially in the chemicals sector.

Carcoustics was also represented: Madeleine van der Tuuk, industrial clerk apprentice in her third year in Leverkusen, took part in the event as a moderator. She moderated the exchange of trainees' experiences abroad and then presented the results to an invited audience of representatives from companies, schools and politics.

This allowed the added value and the importance of stays abroad within the framework of training to be expressed to representatives from a wide variety of fields. At the same time, the embassies were also concerned with which challenges had to be overcome and which requirements had to be met in order for trainees' stays abroad to be more strongly integrated into companies' training plans in the future.

Erasmus+ is a programme run by NABIBB which, in cooperation with training companies, promotes placements abroad for junior staff as part of their training.

Carcoustics also works closely with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce / Mobility Consulting and Erasmus+ and has already sent five trainees and 15 dual students to the group's international locations since 2014.
