Leverkusen, 22.11.2018
In order to qualify for the international labour market, many young people are interested in spending part of their training or studies abroad.
With a total of 17 locations in Europe, Asia and the USA, Carcoustics is happy to offer its "young talents" the opportunity to work at one of the company's international locations.
For junior employees at the Leverkusen headquarters, a stay abroad of several weeks is an integral part of every apprenticeship and study program. Carcoustics works closely with the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and the "Erasmus+Mobility" program. In addition to financial support for international assignments, the technology-oriented company also receives active support and assistance from them, as well as the Gold BoG International Internship Seal, which is also sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy. The seal is awarded to Carcoustics for its fruitful cooperation with the IHK.
"At Carcoustics, we attach great importance to the training and further education of our junior staff. We are particularly focused on international training right from the start," says Thomas Sundermann, Vice President Human Resources at Carcoustics. "We are delighted that the IHK and the Erasmus+Mobility program are supporting us in this.
The Young Talents at Carcoustics appreciate the international offer - as does Elias Sowa, an industrial clerk apprentice in his third year: "I was sent to our site in Wroclaw, Poland, for six weeks as part of the Erasmus+Mobility program and with the support of Carcoustics. The most exciting thing for me was getting to know the working world in another country. This gave me valuable experience and allowed me to develop both professionally and personally. It's nice that there are offers like this that we can use at Carcoustics."
Carcoustics trains apprentices as industrial clerk and warehouse logistics specialist in the training occupations and, in cooperation with the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, offers the dual study courses Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Production and Logistics, Controlling and Consulting, Chemistry and Process Engineering as well as International Management for Business and Information Technology. As of November 2018, you can apply via our career portal at careers.carcoustics.com/careers/.
