Carcoustics extends its Executive Board with a Chief Operating Officer

  • Martin Berndt, graduate engineer in mechanical engineering with international experience in the setup and management of plants - including in China and Mexico - is the new Chief Operating Officer of Carcoustics.
  • The management of the company, previously consisting of CEO Axel Schulmeyer and CFO Georg Brasch, will thus be expanded to include COO Martin Berndt as the third managing director.
  • The aim is to strengthen Carcoustics' production and logistics areas as well as the role of the plants to establish a modern plant structure.

For Carcoustics as a manufacturing company with 17 locations worldwide, the Operations area plays an essential role. To do justice to this significance, Carcoustics is expanding its management by a third position: In addition to the existing managing directors Axel Schulmeyer, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Georg Brasch, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Mr. Martin Berndt has been the third column of the management as Chief Operating Officer (COO) since October 15, 2019.

Mr. Berndt has extensive experience in operations, including the establishment and management of international plants. The new position of COO strengthens the entire Operations area at Carcoustics and underlines the role of the plants. Thus, a modern plant structure will be established throughout the Group.
