Carcoustics focuses on authenticity in new HR campaign

Carcoustics – designers and manufacturers of acoustic and thermal components for the automotive industry and other industrial sectors – has launched a new global employer branding campaign. The focus is on its employees, who talk authentically and credibly about how Carcoustics is an attractive employer and why it deserves to be recognized with a Top Employer award. 2015 is the second year in a row that the automotive suppliers have won the "Top Employer, Automotive" award. The award is based on an independent survey carried out by the Top Employers Institute. Since 1991, this Institute has been recognizing companies around the world which provide their staff with good working conditions.

The campaign is being run under the slogan "Be part of our future". It is targeted at junior staff, skilled staff, management and graduates. "We deliberately avoided using the classic glossy photos posed by models. Carcoustics has motivated staff, who can be filmed in a variety of different workplaces to create a fascinating and authentic advertising campaign", comments Thomas Sundermann, Vice President HR. "We will be creating many new jobs over the coming years across our full portfolio – from apprentices to engineers, or even executive directors. It is worth being part of our future. This is the message we want to get across."

With this campaign, Carcoustics is focusing on four main target groups: dual-study students, future apprentices, graduates and skilled staff/managers. Each group will be linked to a particular core message:

  • Skilled staff and managers: Develop our products. And yourself.
  • Dual-study students: We build parts for cars, trains and household appliances. And we build your knowledge.
  • Graduates: We promise a resounding future. You promise your commitment.
  • Apprentices: Our staff learn something new every day. We do too.

Backed up by these slogans, the featured employees will enthusiastically make a promise, underlining Carcoustics' authentic corporate culture. Along with the corporate colours of blue and grey, turquoise will be used as an attention-grabber.

The employer branding campaign will be featured in print and online advertisements and on social media. Here the employees will go into more detail about their experience of working in the innovative and exciting Carcoustics environment.
