Leverkusen, 13th February 2019
Carcoustics has been awarded "Top Employer Germany" by the Top Employers Institute. Having been certified as a Top Employer for the automotive sector five times in a row, Carcoustics has now received its first national award: Top Employer Germany 2019.
At the same time, the company's two Austrian sites, the production site in Klaus and the TechCenter in Rankweil, were awarded the "Top Employer Austria" title for the second time in 2019 as part of a joint certification process.

Both awards were handed over on February 12, 2019 during a festive Certification Dinner. Every year, the Top Employers Institute honors companies that excel in personnel management and development.

"We believe that all 2019 certified companies have exceptional employee conditions. By placing the development and advancement of their employees at the heart of their corporate activities, Top Employers make a vital contribution to the sustainability of the workplace and are rightly called Employer of Choice," said David Plink, CEO of the Top Employers Institute.

Carcoustics, a medium-sized company headquartered in Leverkusen, Germany, has opened a total of five new sites in Poland, Slovakia, China, Mexico and the southern United States in the past two years. "A key to our successful growth at 17 locations is our competent, qualified employees in all areas," says Thomas Sundermann, Human Resources Manager of the Carcoustics Group: "We are very pleased that our innovative employee development programs in particular are rewarded by the certification."
An important task of the company is to find qualified new employees, to promote existing employees and to develop Young Talents. This also includes developing in line with continuously changing requirements and offering employees an attractive working environment. Carcoustics was also able to convince the Top Employers Institute in the points "working environment" and "living values".

At the same time, Carcoustics is a technology-oriented company operating in an exciting industry that is subject to constant change. For example, Carcoustics is actively working to further develop its competencies in the areas of digitization and alternative drives in addition to internationalization. However, the company's focus is not only on the automotive sector. The "Industry / Commercial Vehicles" division - which includes household appliances, mechanical engineering, commercial vehicles and the heating/air conditioning/energy sector - is also growing from year to year and offers a wide range of products and many development opportunities.

At Carcoustics, the focus in all areas is on promoting Young Talents and developing skills. The company attaches particular importance to high-quality and strength-oriented training. The training plan includes a comprehensive, structured and professionally coordinated training plan as well as challenging projects, assignments abroad and workshops. Through professional and personal development, the "Young Talents" are optimally prepared for a successful career start - also internationally.

At the Leverkusen site, the company is currently training 22 Young Talents in six different professions: industrial clerks and warehouse clerks and dual study programs in business administration - controlling & consulting, industrial engineering - mechanical engineering, industrial engineering - production & logistics, IMBIT - business informatics.
But there are also exciting opportunities for university and technical college graduates from other courses of study. Some former bachelor and master students have already been able to fill entry positions in the company following their final thesis.

The Talent Management Program "WAYS" provides the appropriate framework for this: The development paths of the specialist, management and project management careers offer employees an individual alternative to the classic linear career path. The learning system with different, individual development measures is the basis of some personal success stories at Carcoustics.

For 2019, we are still looking for trainees and dual students at our German sites in Leverkusen and Haldensleben as well as at our Austrian sites in Klaus and Rankweil.
