On March, 20th 2019, Carcoustics has opened its second Chinese location in Shenyang. In the framework of a festive ceremony, the management opened the plant together with representatives from the Dare Group – the investor of Carcoustics –, the government and the German chamber of commerce as well as customers, suppliers and other guests.
Next to some speeches, the guests could enjoy a special entertainment show of a Lion Dance Team and join a plant tour.
Carcoustics is on a path of international growth and especially wants to expand its presence in China. The management chose Shenyang as the location for its second Chinese plant among others because it is near to the customers BMW, General Motors and FAW-VW.
After the company could strengthen its sales network in North China with its existing plant in Langfang within the last seven years, the near to the customers in Northeastern China is ensured by the new location in Shenyang.
At Carcoustics Shenyang, there are currently working about 20 employees. The team will be growing up to 200 employees in the final stage.
