Carcoustics has established a new plant in Austria: In Bludenz, about 30 kilometers from the existing production site in Klaus, polyurethane box foam blocks are produced on an area of about 800 square meters. These will then flow into production in Klaus.

Carcoustics, headquartered in Leverkusen, Germany, is on an international growth path with 17 sites in nine countries. In Austria, the company is already represented by a development site in Rankweil and a production site in Klaus. The plant in Klaus specializes in thermoforming technology. "This requires box foams that are further processed into products for the automotive industry," says Horst Lederer, Managing Director of the new plant. "The in-house production of these box foams makes us more independent of suppliers and enables us to offer our customers around the world consistently high quality."
