In cooperation with Pfanner, Carcoustics supports the production of protective visors that reduce the spread of the coronavirus. The "NanoShield® 4x4" from Pfanner is a transparent visor that can be mounted on shield caps and similar headgear by means of snap fasteners. It is used to protect against droplet infections in direct human contact, such as in retail stores.

Pfanner, an experienced manufacturer of protective clothing, has set up its own production line at the Carcoustics plant in Klaus, Austria. Around 50 Carcoustics employees work here on the production and assembly of visors made of PET film.

"Especially in a socially exceptional situation such as this, it is important that we as a company work together and see where we can get involved and how we can minimise the spread of the corona virus", says Horst Lederer, business unit manager of Carcoustics: "We are pleased about the cooperation with Pfanner and are happy to be part of this innovative product.”
