Carcoustics is reacting to the corona crisis with new product ideas: After manufacturing its own mouth-nose masks and cooperating with Pfanner to produce protective shields, the company now also produces pandemic partitions.

"Droplet infections are a major transmission route in the spread of the corona virus," says Peter Krause, Business Unit Manager at Carcoustics: "We have developed a practicable solution to protect our employees: Our pandemic partition walls are available in two different versions to protect against the spread of droplets, for example between office workplaces. In addition, they can also be used in the production environment or at the reception desk, among other things".

The Carcoustics Pandemic Partition Walls are available in various sizes and stand on high-quality aluminium feet. This means that the partitions can easily be placed, for example, on a table between two office workplaces or on the floor between two workplaces in production.

The transparent version consists of shatterproof acrylic glass and offers reliable protection in a discreet, elegant design.

A second variant also consists of a highly effective acoustic material which contributes to a reduction of the sound level. In addition to protection against droplets in the air, this variant offers added acoustic value for open-plan offices, for example, through acoustic absorption. The structure consists of an inherently rigid thermoset foam, which can be laminated with various non-woven materials. Printable textiles can also be used, allowing the partition wall to be designed individually. The partition wall can also be used as a pin board.
